Floor Technician – Hospital Environment

Pay: $19.00 per hour

We are hiring an experienced Floor Technician to work in a hospital environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with floor care, including stripping, waxing, buffing, and polishing.

Job Responsibilities

• Strip, wax, buff, and polish hospital floors
• Perform routine and deep floor cleaning and maintenance
• Operate floor machines and other floor-care equipment
• Follow hospital cleaning, infection-control, and safety procedures
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment
• Complete assigned tasks efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards

Requirements

• Previous floor technician experience is required
• Experience with stripping, waxing, buffing, and polishing floors
• Ability to safely operate floor-care equipment
• Reliable, dependable, and detail-oriented
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be able to perform the physical duties required for floor care

Hospital Employment Requirements

Because this position is located in a hospital, all applicants must be able to meet the facility's required screening and health requirements, including:

• Required immunizations
• Background check
• Drug screening

Employment is contingent upon successfully completing all required hospital screenings and clearances.
