How you’ll make an impact in this role

  • Provide leadership, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to departmental staff. Assists with performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.
  • Monitor planned maintenance on heating, ventilating and/or air conditioning systems.
  • Ensure staff compliance with departmental and organizational policies, procedures and protocols.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, committees, and projects addressing issues related to educational initiatives, conflict resolution, cost containment issues, implementation of new services/systems, and performance measures.
  • Ensure safe, reliable and continuous availability of required supplies, materials, utilities and specialty systems.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Certification specializing in Healthcare Facilities preferred.
  • Contractor specializing in Plumber preferred.
  • Engineer preferred.
  • Journeyperson preferred.
  • Journeyperson specializing in Plumber preferred.
  • Plumber specializing in Journeyman preferred.
  • Maintenance Professional preferred.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency and 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree and 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
