Clarifi Staffing Solutions is partnering with an Illinois school district to find a School Social Worker who is passionate about helping students succeed beyond the classroom. This full-time opportunity is ideal for a professional who enjoys building meaningful relationships with students and helping them develop the social-emotional skills needed to succeed at school and in their everyday lives.
What You’ll Do
In this position, you’ll provide direct support to students experiencing academic, behavioral, social, or emotional challenges. You’ll conduct student assessments, provide counseling and interventions, respond to situations requiring immediate support, and work with school teams to identify effective solutions. You’ll also communicate with families, connect them with appropriate community resources, and advocate for services that address individual student needs.
Your work will extend beyond individual student support. You’ll partner with teachers, administrators, families, and other professionals to develop coordinated strategies, strengthen student support systems, and contribute to a welcoming school environment where students feel supported and capable of reaching their potential.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Social Work
- School-based experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong counseling, communication, assessment, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to support students with varied social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
- Active Illinois PEL with School Social Worker endorsement, or eligibility to obtain the required credentials.
