Job Summary/General Purpose of Job

  • Implement strategic direction and marketing plan for holistic offerings including but not limited to paid media and branded merchandise. This includes but is not limited to creating cohesive brand awareness, developing message platforms, marketing activations and achievements, honing the public perception, identifying suitable target audiences and establishing effective marketing efforts in paid and owned media.

 

Essential Job Duties

 

  • Assist with development and execution of strategic marketing plans, including tactics such as branding, cost-benefit analysis, strategic goals and non-dues revenue generation initiatives.
  • Assist with integrating all marketing and communication efforts.
  • Support market products, events and other services, such as sponsorships. Align to diverse revenues streams.
  • Participate in Pop-Up and other events to drive member and non-member revenues.
  • Perform research and data analysis to aid in strategic decision making.
  • Collaborate with entity and department marketing teams to deliver integrated, marketing plans. 
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Required Education, Qualifications, Experience

 

  • Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university, or 5 years of directly equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ marketing and communications experience.
  • Prior experience with marketing plan development, administration, and evaluation required.
  • Written/Oral Communications Skills - Advanced
  • Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite, Relational database software, and campaign management tools.

 

Preferred Education, Qualifications, Experience

 

  • Previous Membership Association experience.

 

Physical Requirements

  • Typical office work environment.

Extent of Travel Required in the Job

  • As a normal course of business, this job will typically require travel of less than 15% of the time.
