MRI Technologist- Lead

Position Highlights:

  • Position: MRI Technologist Lead
  • Sign on Bonus: $10,000
  • Location: Swedish Hospital
  • Hours: Full time
  • Shift: M-F  9-5:30pm
  • Required Travel: none

What you will do:

  • Oversee daily MRI department operations, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, imaging quality standards, and efficient patient workflow.
  • Provide technical expertise, training, and mentorship to MRI technologists, while collaborating with physicians and staff to optimize imaging procedures and patient care.
  • Monitors and update MR Work Que daily including vetting patient’s implants
  • Able to multitask assisting technologist and physicians request with specialized scheduling.
  • Perform MRI exams as needed for use by physicians in diagnosing and treating patient illness and/or injury, in accordance with departmental standards, policies and procedures
  • Assist with patients for exam when needed: obtain and record history, explain procedures, position patients and ensure their comfort
  • Review MRI images to ensure optimum quality
  • Assist with patient/family participation in post-procedural care for all age groups and provide resource information, as directed

What you will need:

  • License: ARRT- MR
  • Education: Certification or Associate’s degree in Radiology from an accredited program
  • Certification: CPR required
  • Experience: Previous MRI Technologist experience required
  • Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills required
