Companion Animal Hospital is looking for a Veterinary Technician Supervisor who is ready to lead from the floor, develop a high-performing team, and help shape the future of our hospital.

š¼ About the Role
The Technician Supervisor plays a critical role in supporting daily operations, elevating medical standards, and developing the technician team.
You will work closely with hospital leadership to ensure:
ā¢Ā Ā Ā Strong clinical workflowsĀ
ā¢Ā Ā Ā Consistent training and skill developmentĀ
ā¢Ā Ā Ā A collaborative, respectful team environmentĀ
ā¢Ā Ā Ā High-quality patient care and client experienceĀ
š§ What Youāll Do
ā¢Ā Ā Ā Lead and support the technician team throughout the day (this is a working supervisor role)Ā
ā¢Ā Ā Ā Create and maintain technician schedules, assignments, and workflow efficiencyĀ
ā¢Ā Ā Ā Train, mentor, and develop team members at all skill levelsĀ
ā¢Ā Ā Ā Ensure adherence to medical protocols, safety standards, and compliance (DEA, controlled substances, etc.)Ā
ā¢Ā Ā Ā Partner with DVMs and leadership team members to support efficient, high-quality patient careĀ
ā¢Ā Ā Ā Drive accountability while fostering a positive, team-first cultureĀ
ā¢Ā Ā Ā Support hospital initiatives, software transitions, and process improvementsĀ
ā¢Ā Ā Ā Assist with inventory, equipment oversight, and surgical flowĀ
ā¢Ā Ā Ā Participate in marketing initiatives
š± Who You Are
ā¢Ā Ā Ā A strong veterinary technician with leadership experience or readiness to step into leadershipĀ
ā¢Ā Ā Ā Passionate about teaching, coaching, and developing othersĀ
ā¢Ā Ā Ā Organized, solution-oriented, and confident in decision-makingĀ
ā¢Ā Ā Ā Able to balance team support with accountability and performance standardsĀ
ā¢Ā Ā Ā Comfortable navigating change and helping teams adapt (especially with new systems and workflows)Ā
ā¢Ā Ā Ā A positive, āletās figure it outā mindset with strong communication skillsĀ
𩺠Qualifications
ā¢Ā Ā Ā 3+ years of veterinary technician experience requiredĀ
ā¢Ā Ā Ā Credentialed veterinary technician preferred
ā¢Ā Ā Ā Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferredĀ
ā¢Ā Ā Ā Strong technical skills (surgery, anesthesia, patient care, workflow coordination)Ā
ā¢Ā Ā Ā Knowledge of compliance standards (controlled substances, medical documentation, etc.)Ā
ā¢Ā Ā Ā Experience with PIMS and other veterinary software (EzyVet, VetSnap etc.) is a plusĀ
