Software Test Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION/TYPICAL TASK BREAKDOWN:

• Gather and write technical requirements and user stories.
• Coordinate API integrations between internal and external vendors.
• Perform software testing and validation of REST APIs and eSIM solutions.
• Manage and track work items in Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate with internal engineering teams and external vendors.
• Conduct test sessions, resolve technical issues, and support project execution.
• Support telecom/connectivity initiatives related to 5G eSIM management.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create and document technical requirements and user stories.
• Coordinate API integration activities with internal teams and external vendors.
• Perform software testing, validation, and troubleshooting.
• Manage project tasks and track progress using Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate with Telecom, Systems, and Engineering teams to define solutions.
• Conduct test sessions and support 5G eSIM connectivity initiatives.
• Review user needs and support project planning, scope, and implementation.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field with 2 to 4 years of experience in software testing, API integration, requirements gathering, and DevOps-related activities.

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:

• Experience writing, implementing, or using REST APIs.
• Ability to use Azure DevOps (ADO).
• Software testing and validation experience.
• Experience creating technical requirements and user stories.
• Basic knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Ability to troubleshoot software issues and support system changes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).

DESIRED SKILLS:

• Familiarity with the Comprion test system.
