TRIGO Global Quality Solutions is seeking to fill a Material Handler position within our Mossville, IL team. The current pay range for this first shift position is $18-$20 per hour.

Overall Purpose

Under direction of the Shift Supervisor or Warehouse Team Lead, the HT Material Handler completes in a timely manner all receiving, shipping, and material handling functions as required.

Reports To

Direct: Shift Supervisor and Site Manager Indirect : Area Manager/ Director of Operations

Responsibilities

Sort material as needed
Accurately and legibly fill out daily paperwork
Perform record and time keeping activities as required
Complete damaged goods reports and/or accident reports as required
Use power and hand tools typically found in a warehouse environment
Safely move, stage, load, and unload materials throughout the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment
Operate a forklift for extended periods while following all safety, quality, and warehouse procedures
Use powered industrial trucks and pallet jacks to move material within the work area
Complete other duties and/or responsibilities as assigned

Powered Industrial Truck Operator (OSHA) certification or ability to obtain certification through TRIGO HT
Demonstrated competency in operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment
Demonstrated competency in operating power and hand tools

Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, manufacturing, or logistics environment preferred.
