We are currently hiring a Full Time Building & Grounds Maintenance in SACB. This shift will be Mon-Fri dayshift 8 hours (overtime as needed).
 
As a Maintenance, Building and Grounds coworker, you'll help keep our brewery facilities, grounds, and equipment operating safely and efficiently. You'll perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and facility support work across a dynamic production environment while contributing to a strong safety culture and supporting day-to-day brewery operations.
 
What You'll Brew:
 
  • Perform preventative maintenance and repair work on brewery buildings, grounds, equipment, and production machinery.
  • Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as inspecting and replacing belts, filters, hoses, and monitoring fluid levels.
  • Assist with building renovation and remodeling projects, including drywall repair, painting, and facility improvements.
  • Support plumbing, electrical, and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) maintenance and repair activities.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Set up and tear down spaces for meetings and events and move, repair, or assemble office furniture and equipment.
  • Respond to emergency maintenance requests and adapt to changing priorities and operational needs.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas while supporting departmental and brewery goals.
  • Perform outdoor facility duties, including snow removal and general grounds maintenance.
  • Work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, temperature extremes, production equipment, forklifts, and occasional overtime, weekend, holiday, or extended shifts as required.

 

What Ingredients You'll Bring:

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • High school diploma or GED with applicable technical knowledge.
  • Experience using personal computers; familiarity with CMMS systems is a plus.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work throughout the workday.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods on concrete, metal, and grated surfaces.
  • Ability to bend, twist, climb, reach, crawl, crouch, and work in elevated areas as required.
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety shoes, gloves, hearing protection, face masks, and hard hats.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment physical examination required for production roles.
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and varying shift schedules as business needs require.

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in building or facility maintenance.
  • Working knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, electrical systems, machine repair, mechanical systems, plant layout, and painting.
  • Experience using hand tools and power tools commonly associated with maintenance trades.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, sketches, original equipment manufacturer (OEM) instructions, and specifications.
  • Knowledge of applicable safety standards, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), hazardous materials (HAZMAT), and forklift safety practices.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
 
Level: 9IC
In accordance with pay transparency laws the pay rate for this role if hired is $17.31-$36.54 per hour. However, it's important to note that where the person hired starts in this range is dependent on their related experience, skillset and location.
