The Lead Analyst partners closely with IRRA leadership and stakeholders while providing guidance to Analysts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead independent assessments evaluating Bank practices against regulatory expectations, supervisory communications, and emerging guidance.

  • Interpret complex and evolving regulatory guidance, including non-traditional sources, and translate it into clear assessment criteria.

  • Design assessment scope, testing approaches, and documentation aligned to IRRA standards and regulatory expectations.

  • Identify control, governance, and risk management gaps; lead root cause analysis and develop independent assessment insights.

  • Provide guidance, coaching, and feedback to Analysts, ensuring consistency and adherence to IRRA standards.

  • Manage multiple assessments and modernization initiatives simultaneously, prioritizing work based on evolving organizational goals and risk priorities with limited direction.

  • Contribute to operational excellence and modernization efforts that improve review efficiency, consistency, and effectiveness.

- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal guidance while collaborating effectively across teams.

- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.

- Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

- Proficient with Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel.

- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CRCM, CAMS, CIA) preferred.
