Associate Designer - Electrical

KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) provides holistic and value-added solutions across the entire asset life cycle. These include world-class licensed process technologies, differentiated advisory services, deep technical domain expertise, energy transition solutions, high-end design capabilities, and smart solutions to optimize planned and operating assets.

KBR is looking for an Associate Electrical Designer to provide design assistance necessary to evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria required for directed project work. With additional experience and guidance with electrical design, the incumbent assists in the design of larger and more complex assignments which involve conventional types of plans, investigations and surveys with relatively few complex features for which there are precedents. Your job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability or operations.

Functional job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for electrical design on chemical and/or pulp and paper projects

Required Education, Experience, & Skills:

  • Associate Degree in Engineering Technology or equivalent work experience

  • 2+ years electrical design experience
