Health Information Management Assistant duties include: Audit the medical record-both current and discharge chart Logging Physician Progress notes into Microsoft Excel Daily correspondence to Primary MD of discharge patients Logging Physician visits into our database Daily Census data entry Paying close attention to detail Microsoft Excel and Word Experience helpful Knowledge of MDS helpful This is not a medical billing position Flexible with daily routine ICD 10 coding experience helpful, but not necessary Brothers of Mercy is WNY’s largest  Skilled Nursing Facility and one of the top-performing nursing homes in the entire state.
