This position is responsible for preparation, application, and repair of paper machine roll covers at our Clarks Summit location. The roll cover operator’s basic duties will entail setup and machine calibration, recovering of customers machine rolls, oven operation, and draining and filling tanks and vessels.  The ability to patch poly covers in plant or at the customers facility by carrying out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.  You will be required to handle solvents to use while cleaning and maintaining machinery and customers equipment and will be required to transfer waste from dispenser to containers for proper disposal.

Expectations

To excel in the role you should have a solid understanding of the manufacturing environment. A strong mechanical aptitude will ensure success for this position. You will balance a desire to support and work diligently on tasks along with your passion for development of cutting-edge products.

To succeed in this role you will need

A high school education with previous manufacturing experience; ideally a minimum of three to five years’ experience.  Knowledge of papermaking machinery a plus but not required.  Willing to work with and train candidates with a high level of initiative and personal motivation.
