Fetch Specialty & Emergency Veterinary Centers is a family-owned network of specialty and emergency veterinary hospitals dedicated to providing advanced, compassionate care across a range of disciplines, including emergency and critical care, ophthalmology, oncology, surgery, and internal medicine.

We are excited to grow our Ophthalmology Service in Clearwater and are looking for a team member who wants to be part of building and supporting this specialized service.

In this role, you will work closely with our ophthalmology team to provide exceptional patient care and a positive client experience. You will assist with examinations, diagnostic testing, procedures, and treatments.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor anesthesia and support patients during ophthalmic surgeries and sedated procedures.
  • Assist veterinarians with ophthalmic exams, diagnostics, and specialized treatment procedures.
  • Administer medications, collect samples, and maintain accurate medical records.
  • Restrain and handle patients safely while ensuring comfort during exams.
  • Educate pet owners on post-procedure care, medications, and follow-up instructions.
  • High School diploma or equivalent;
  • Certification as a Veterinary Technician (CVT, LVT, RVT) is preferred.
  • Experience in veterinary ophthalmology is a plus.
