POSITION SUMMARY:

As a Marketing Specialist at State Industrial Products, you will support marketing initiatives that strengthen our brand, enable our sales organization, and contribute to the company’s continued growth. Reporting to the Marketing Communications Manager, this role collaborates across the marketing and sales teams to support lead management, events, sales communications, and a variety of marketing projects.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage incoming Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) from the company website, ensuring timely routing and distribution by geography across the sales organization
  • Prepare and distribute monthly SQL performance summaries for the CEO, VP of Marketing, Marketing Communications Manager, and Digital Marketing Specialist
  • Own the trade show request and coordination process, including securing Finance approval for event participation expenses and ensuring the timely delivery of signage, literature, samples, and appreciation items
  • Manage the company apparel site, including product offerings, administration of gift card rewards for internal contests, and the vendor relationship
  • Evaluate, maintain, and recommend appreciation item offerings to support sales, customer, and company engagement initiatives
  • Support the planning and development of internal and external sales communications, including webcasts
  • Assist with the planning and execution of company sales meetings, providing marketing support, materials, and communication strategies to help ensure successful outcomes
  • Continuously evaluate and recommend marketing tools, platforms, and capabilities that can enhance operational efficiency, support company growth, and advance the overall marketing strategy
  • Support additional marketing initiatives as needed, including event planning, content creation, social media, digital marketing campaigns, video projects, and market research

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in marketing, communications, sales support, or a related role preferred
  • Effective organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear, compelling content for different audiences
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate, polished marketing and sales materials
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively across teams and with senior management
  • Self-starter with a proactive approach, strong problem-solving skills, and a willingness to learn and contribute to the success of the company
