Summary:
Supervises production team members in in a manufacturing and assembly environment.Â
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Communicates work assignments to shift employees
- Implement policies and procedures and recommend improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures and working conditions. Assists and supports EBWE in continuously improve initiatives.
- Ensures effective employee relations by providing coaching and development. Resolves issues equitably and with integrity.Â
- Balances quality, productivity, cost, safety and morale to achieve positive results in all areas.Â
- Manages shift performance measures, including visual controls and provides regular progress reports.Â
- Champions culture of safety through demonstration of behavior and adherence to workplace standards.Â
- Participate in Corrective Action process.
- Manage team member's time and attendance records as part of overall performance. Â
- Determine, communicate and carry out necessary training of team members within designated shift.
- Other duties as assigned.
Â
Education/ Experience:
- 3-5 years progressive leadership experience in a manufacturing setting, Tier 1 automotive preferred.
- Business Management or equivalent preferred
- Experience with ERP systems
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong leadership, communication (written, verbal, and electronic), and interpersonal skills
- Effective at conflict resolution and troubleshooting issues
- Able to multi-task and manage resources through effective prioritization
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite
