GSF Properties Inc. is seeking an experienced and dependable Maintenance Technician II to join our team in Fresno, CA. As a Maintenance Technician II, you'll play a leadership role in maintaining the community by performing advanced repairs, responding to service requests, supporting apartment turnovers, and helping ensure the property remains safe, attractive, and well-maintained. Compensation & Schedule

  • Pay: 21.00-23.00 per hour, plus benefits (based on experience)
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
  • Participation in an on-call rotation as needed

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventative and maintenance and repair work in areas including, but not limited to, appliances, carpentry, hardware, and basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
  • Complete assigned service requests and repairs in accordance with company operating procedures and standards.
  • Assist in preparing vacant apartments to ensure they are market-ready and meet company quality standards.
  • Maintain community grounds and curb appeal and trash management.
  • Be available for on call activity during off hours and emergencies as needed
  • Maintain good public relations with residents and vendors
  • Assist with annual apartment inspections and identifying action items
  • Report violations of lease and house rules
  • Timely completion of maintenance request, work orders and ensure tenant’s maintenance needs are being met
  • Work with manager to schedule vendors and order necessary supplies
  • Maintaining excellent curb appeal
  • Help maintaining excellent curb appeal

Requirements

Job Requirements for Maintenance Technician II:


 

  • Minimum 2+ years of apartment maintenance experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, carpentry, and general maintenance.
  • Experience troubleshooting and diagnosing maintenance issues independently.
  • Experience completing work orders, unit turns, inspections, and preventative maintenance.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to navigate web-based applications.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to participate in an on-call rotation and respond to emergencies as needed.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current automobile insurance required.
