Job SpecificationÂ
The Base Technician is responsible for supporting rental operations by receiving/dispatching units, loading and unloading equipment, and washing/staging equipment.Â

Principal AccountabilitiesÂ
Employees predominantly engage in the following essential job functions during their day-to-day activities:
Â
- Ensures all equipment is properly cleaned and staged. 
Â
- Perform maintenance and service on equipment such as pressure washing, completing inspections, etc. 
Â
- Performs inspection on equipment as required.
Â
- Perform NDE inspection (wet mag, dye penetrant) on equipment pad-eyes as required.
Â
- Perform visual inspections on equipment and slings as required.
Â
- Complete forklift safety checklist daily/upon use
Â
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing equipment.
Â
- Maintain and submit
accurate inspection forms, delivery paperwork, etc. 
Â
- Maintain a safe work site.
Â
- Assist with other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Â
Qualifications and ExperienceÂ
- At least 18 years old. Â
- Applicants must possess a valid Driver’s license.  Â
- No more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years. Â
- A clean work, driving, and criminal history record. Â
- Safety conscience Â
- 1-year general oilfield experience or equivalent combination of education. Â
- Basic Computer knowledge
- Ability to communicate with other crew members, customers, and vendors. Â
Preferred, but not required. Â
- 6 months experience in NDE, current NDE Level II certification a plus Â
- 6 months experience in Rigging, current Rigging Gear and Sling Inspector Level II Â
