Job Description

The IPS Specialist will provide supportive services to clients and coordinates community resources in accordance with individualized case plans. They will also maintain a professional, compassionate approach that promotes recovery, independence, and overall wellness.


Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in the social services field (required)
  • Master’s Degree (preferred)
  • Minimum of one year of training or experience in vocational services, employment, or relevant social services (required)

  • Communicates respectfully and effectively and establishes professional relationships through active listening and demonstration of empathy and positive regard.
  • Promotes recovery, independence, and personal choice for participants.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of behavioral health symptoms, interventions, and impact. 


Job Duties / Skills Required 

  • Participates as part of a multidisciplinary team providing services for vocational rehabilitation.
  • Completes assessments to help with recreational or social activities and/ or job skills coaching and preparation.
  • Provides guidance, adaptive skills teaching to secure and retain employment, and referral to resources.
