Job DetailsJob Location: TURNING POINT HOMES - CONCORD - CONCORD, NC 28025Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $50,000.00 - $52,000.00 SalaryJob Shift: Variable Foster Care Licensing/Recruiter Case Manager Turning Point Family Services is seeking a Qualified Professional for our foster care department. We are looking at bringing an additional foster care licensing /recruiter case manager as we look to continue to grow our foster care program. We have been providing foster care services in our community since 2002. We specialize in Intensive Alternative Family Treatment (IAFT). We are one of the biggest providers of this type of foster care in the state of NC. We are looking for individuals who are team orientated with great communication skills. A big part of this position will be going into the community and recruiting and licensing new foster parents for both IAFT and TFC. Position Summary Recruiting foster parents and responsible for the completion of licensing paperwork for new foster parents and relicensing paperwork for current foster families and audit and maintenance of foster care consumers. Provide case management for a small caseload of IAFT or TFC clients. Responsibilities Supervising and evaluating Independent Contractor/Foster Parents. Providing monthly clinical documentation of consumer contacts/family visitations. Responsible for recruiting foster parents. Responsible for planning and conducting recruitment events. Obtain licensing paperwork for new foster parents. Obtain paperwork for re-licensure of current foster parents on their caseload. Participate in MAPP training and other required training courses at the agency. Participate in Foster parent recruitment by attending community events/ virtual events. Maintain foster parent and consumer charts per company standards and state standards. Audit and maintain foster consumer and foster parent charts to prepare for audits for the foster care department. Assists QA/QI director during foster audits with ensuring foster parent charts are up to standard. Facilitating treatment planning. Performing the daily management of services for children in placement. Providing daily management of children, which may include but is not limited to introducing behavior management, anger management, and social skills techniques to children and parents, one-on-one counseling with the children, resource identification for the parents, and guidance/support for the child and parent. Coordinating services with biological parents and planning for step-down/ transition home.
