Due to growth and customer demand, CommScope is looking to add a Sales Director Management Services Organization to our Broadband infrastructure team in the U.S. The ideal candidate will be based in the U.S. East Coast area.

How You'll Help Us Connect the World:
This Key Account sales position is accountable for strategically selling the breadth of the product line to a named strategic account across regional boundaries, as applicable. Â Requires a balanced sales effort involving sales/account management skills and product knowledge/problem-solving/solution skills. Coordinates the sales and customer relationship process to meet assigned financial objectives, including achievement of product sales/solution sales goals. Travel up to 60% is required.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Develop, grow and maintain sales and management customer relationships at all levels within Global Accounts. Engages appropriate internal CommScope resources as necessary, to support sales pursuitsÂ
Proactively plan and direct sales activities in respective regions by routine visits, customer training, providing information of new products/solutions to achieve maximum results in development of existing and new customers.  Resolves Escalations and areas of ambiguity.  Coordinate with the account managers to assess key decision-makers’ needs and understand customer’s business, technology and product requirements to develop a plan of action to meet customer needs. Works with business unit leaders in support of customer needs and opportunities.
Responsible for revenue and demand forecasting, account planning, project planning and other administrative tasks to raise financial objectives. Â Responsible for expense management for assigned region.
Coordinate with sales contributors to assess market opportunities and develop business plans to meet revenue objectives. Â Supervises the territory analysis and planning to enable appropriate allocation of time to accounts and customers. Â Develop recommendations on growth, opportunities for growth and key target accounts.
Motivates and directs salespeople to support CommScope’s strategic sales objectives (i.e., new product sales, new customer acquisition, etc.).
Provides leadership, coaching and counseling for all associates in sales concepts, principles and practices.
Recruits, hires, trains and develops competent sales personnel consistent with business needs and CommScope’s human resources policies.
Supports the regions in penetrating CommScope products into the regional markets for their named accounts. Participates in territory analysis and planning to enable appropriate allocation of time to accounts and customers. Â Assesses market opportunities and develops business plans to meet revenue objectives.Â
Sales Strategy and Execution:
Manages the execution of the complete sales cycle, from prospecting and qualifying sales leads, to coordinating sales activities and required resources for solution development negotiating and closing

Required Qualifications for Consideration:

•   Bachelor’s degree in related areas.
•   10 or more years of relevant experience.
•   3+ years’ experience at a management level. Experience in Account Planning, Forecasting, Product Service/Solution.
•   Ability to have influence over purchasing decisions while becoming a trusted advisor.

Candidates starting with the Company will be eligible for eleven paid holidays in a full calendar year, two weeks of paid vacation (prorated based on start date), as well as other leave options.
Our salary ranges consider a wide variety of factors, including but not limited to benchmarking by independent third-party consultants, skill sets, years of experience, training, education, geography, and other business needs. Depending on experience, the range can be higher for candidates with exceptional experience and a demonstrated history of successful performance. The expected salary range for this position is $177,000 - $266,000, based on hired level and experience.
