What You'll Do
As a Residential Specialist, you will:
• Provide direct care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential setting.
• Assist with personal care needs, including bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene, and meal preparation.
• Support daily living skills, independence, and participation in individualized goals and support plans.
• Help individuals participate in community activities, appointments, social events, and meaningful experiences.
• Promote dignity, respect, person-centered care, and a safe, clean, and welcoming home environment.

Qualifications
Required:
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Valid Driver's License
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to provide hands-on support and physical assistance when needed
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred:
• Experience in caregiving, healthcare, human services, education, psychology, nursing, social work, or a related field

Schedule
• Full-Time
• Flexible scheduling based on program needs
• Weekend and holiday hours may be required
• Additional shifts may be available based on staffing needs
Physical Requirements
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and assist individuals as needed
• Ability to provide physical assistance and support when required
• Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
