Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate plumbing crews (typically 10+ tradesmen).
- Manage layout, installation, and testing of commercial plumbing systems.
- Ensure compliance with blueprints, specifications, and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, general contractors, and inspectors.
- Oversee material management, scheduling, and daily reporting.
- Identify and resolve issues proactively to maintain project flow.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Foreman or Lead Plumber in commercial construction.
- Proven ability to lead field crews of 10+.
- Experience planning for the next day/week to avoid wasted time or materials.
- Maintain production efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong focus on job site safety for self and crew.
- Have experience in reading blueprints accurately.
- Strong understanding of plumbing codes, systems, and commercial layouts.
- Journeyman or Master Plumber license preferred.
- OSHA certification preferred.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to meet the physical requirement of job.
- Must have valid SC Driver’s License
