We're Hiring: Senior Human Resources Generalist – Join Our Growing Team!

Do you have strong communication skills and enjoy helping people? We’re on the hunt for a Senior HR Generalist to join our Employee Relations team. This position offers hands-on experience in basic HR principles, practices and employment regulations. If you are someone who brings both HR knowledge and a people-first approach, we want to hear from you!

Compensation: $75,000 a year

What You’ll Be Doing:

· Collaborate with management to promote positive employee relations and support effective performance management.

· Advise supervisors and managers on coaching, corrective action, performance concerns, employee development, and other employee relations matters.

· Respond to employee questions and provide guidance regarding company policies, procedures, benefits, and available HR resources.

· Provide guidance and support related to conflict resolution, workplace concerns, performance issues, and employee relations best practices.

· Conduct and/or support workplace investigations, including gathering information, interviewing employees and management, documenting findings, and making recommendations consistent with company policy and applicable laws.

· Provide guidance and support related to FMLA, ADA accommodations, multi-state leave management, including California and New York requirements, unemployment, workers’ compensation, and applicable federal and state employment laws.

· Collaborate with HR, management, and employees to resolve employee relations matters in a professional, timely, and consistent manner.

· Support HR initiatives and programs related to recruitment, compensation, benefits, employee development, compliance, and other HR functions as needed.

· Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR documentation in accordance with company policies and applicable requirements.

· Stay informed of changes to federal and state employment laws and assist with communicating and implementing applicable HR policy and process updates.

· Perform other duties as assigned.


What We’re Looking For:

· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience

· Three (3) years of progressive HR experience, with experience in employee relations, performance management, compliance, FMLA, ADA accommodations, multi-state leave management, unemployment, workers’ compensation, and federal and state employment laws.

· Experience supporting employees and managers across multiple states

· Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively work with employees and management at all levels.

· Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills.

· Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.

· Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently while collaborating effectively with the HR team and business leaders.

· Experience with HRIS systems, Dayforce (preferred).


Needed Availability

In office Columbia, MO Monday-Friday 8:00a-5:00p


Physical Requirements:

· Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.

· Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.

· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

· Visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
