Job DetailsJob Location: Columbia - Columbia, TN 38401Education Level: High SchoolTravel Percentage: NoneJob Shift: Second Shift 2:30p - 11pBasic Function: Machine Operators are responsible for all processing, markers, customer projects, Laser-marking functions, and cable manufacturing as directed by Supervisor or Warehouse Manager.  Responsibilities: Fulfills value-added work orders by operating equipment, handling material, performing quality checks, and completing paperwork as necessary. Assists or oversees a variety of machine setups and operations. Documents machine setup data, maintains appropriate records and files. Performs machine maintenance and repairs as required - use of hand tools. Ensures quality standards are met with kitting and packaging requirements.  Monitors reports through the WireMasters ERP System and manages workload in order to maintain on time delivery and ship dates. Responsible for answering emails concerning Value Added orders as necessary. Customer service and professionalism when dealing with stakeholders. Use of statistical methods ensuring quality standards for all machines and orders. Responsible for processing tickets as needed, including daily monitoring, pulling, cutting, and transferring any material using the ERP system. Maintain a neat and orderly workplace at all times. Follows safety procedures in accordance with approved training and reports any dangerous conditions to management immediately.
