Job DetailsJob Location: Chapel Hill, 1605 - Columbia, MO 65203Position Summary The Administrative Coordinator provides clerical and administrative support to the Human Resources department. This clerical HR position assists with maintaining employee records, processing routine HR paperwork, supporting recruitment and onboarding activities, and providing general office support. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, professional, and able to maintain confidentiality when handling employee information. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide general clerical and administrative support to the Human Resources department. Maintain accurate and organized employee personnel files and HR records. Assist with filing, scanning, copying, data entry, and document preparation. Assist with processing new-hire, employee change, and separation paperwork. Support the onboarding process by preparing documents and ensuring required forms are completed. Assist with scheduling interviews, meetings, orientations, and other HR activities. Assist with recruitment activities, including reviewing applications for completeness and communicating routine information to applicants. Enter and update employee information in the HR information system (HRIS). Assist with tracking required employee documents, licenses, certifications, training records, and other HR documentation. Respond to routine employee questions and direct employees to the appropriate HR team member when necessary. Prepare routine correspondence, forms, reports, and other HR documents. Maintain confidentiality of employee, applicant, and organizational information. Provide professional customer service to employees, applicants, managers, and visitors. Assist with special HR projects and other administrative duties as assigned. QualificationsMinimum Qualifications Required: High school diploma or GED. BA/BS preferred. Required: 1-2 years' experience in office administration and Microsoft Office. Previous Human Resources experience is helpful but not required. Ability to learn HR software and other computer systems. Ability to maintain accurate records and pay close attention to detail. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to communicate professionally both verbally and in writing. Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Professional and courteous interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks. Dependable and able to follow established procedures. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise appropriate discretion. Willingness and ability to learn basic Human Resources processes and procedures. Ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization. Physical and Work Requirements This position primarily works in an office environment. The employee must be able to perform routine computer and clerical work and may occasionally be required to lift or move files, supplies, or materials associated with normal office operations.
