Job Summary:
Manages and supervises the activities of supervisors and leads as well as non-exempt staff in various areas of banking operations to include Loans, Deposits, Payments Call Center and other support services. Manages the daily work-flow of a group of team members and ensure the assigned area is appropriately staffed. Plans and coordinates activities within the assigned area.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the activities of an assigned group of documentation specialists. Assigns and monitors the work flow and ensures performance standards are maintained. Ensures documentation is processed in line with established compliance guidelines, firm policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitors and measures team member performance criteria (i.e. error rates). Ensures performance criteria is maintained within acceptable guidelines. Addresses performance issues as deemed appropriate.
  • Maintains a high production performance standard within the assigned area. Ensures team members are knowledgeable of performance expectations and measurement tools.
  • Continuously looks for opportunities for the improvement and simplification of processes to enhance response time and to identify opportunities for increased efficiency.
  • Manages staffing and budget considerations for the department. Manages the time and attendance system for all team members. Assists management in the development and implementation of new policies, procedures and processes.
  • Assists team during peak times with daily tasks and responsibilities. Addresses calls or questions which may challenge the operations processes or requirements. Assists in training new team members and may develop and compile training reference materials.
  • Provides leadership, direction and growth opportunities to members of the department, performing those responsibilities in accordance with the Firm's policies and applicable laws. Responsible for interviewing, hiring, planning, assigning or directing work, appraising performance, disciplining team members and resolving problems. Works with the Human Resources Department to resolve more complex team member-related issues.
  • Each team member is expected to be aware of risk within their functional area. This includes observing all policies, procedures, laws, regulations and risk limits specific to their role. Additionally, they should raise and report known or suspected violations to the appropriate Firm authority in a timely fashion.
  • Performs other related duties as required.
