Job Description

A shift-6:00AM-6:00PM

Essential Functions

  • Provide raw material for SCF and Production.

  • Review and package finished product from SCF.

  • Complete necessary paperwork for both raw material and finished product.

  • Maintain inventory management system.   

  • Ensures compliance with BD quality systems, policies, procedures and best practices, and all local, state, federal and BD safety regulations, policies and procedures.  

  • Regular, punctual attendance is an essential job function.  

  • Ability to read and write and converse in English.  Willing and able to uphold BD Values. 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

  • Visually inspect packaged product. 

  • Manual packaging, 100% inspection to packaging requirements and machine operation. 

  • Responsible for working inside a clean room environment. 

  • Maintain equipment according to preventative maintenance schedule. 

  • Record accurate inspection data as required for the completion of controlled documents/paperwork in an effective manner. 

  • Read, understand and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs). 

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the process.  

  • Utilize Manufacturing Execution System (MES) to validate, issue, and confirm production orders. 

  • Tend to the overall cleanliness and organization of the equipment and work area. 

  • Trains associates and answers procedural questions to internal and/or external stakeholders, as needed. 

  • Maintain raw material KANBAN flow for SCF rooms.  

  • Other duties as required to support the needs of the business. 

DELIVERABLES 

  • High quality products produced per manufacturing documents. 

  • Accurate documentation.  

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS 

Minimum Experience: 

  • 2 years manufacturing experience required in lieu of HS Diploma/GED 

  • Use of measurement devices and quality records preferred. ​
