Position Overview

We are seeking a diligent and customer-oriented Cashier to join our team. The Cashier will be the first point of contact for customers, responsible for processing transactions accurately and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This role requires someone who is trustworthy, attentive to detail, and able to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. 

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide assistance throughout their shopping experience.
• Operate cash registers and handle monetary transactions accurately.
• Process payments by cash, credit, debit, or other methods efficiently.
• Ensure the checkout area is clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
• Answer customer inquiries and resolve issues in a courteous and professional manner.

Qualifications

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience as a cashier or in a retail/customer service role is a plus.
• Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash accurately.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
