Job Description

As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Badge Processing in Columbus, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol government and commercial real estate locations, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This driving position offers the opportunity to support access control, respond to concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service. Pay Rate: $18.67 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, employees, and transit patrons by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property, transit-adjacent areas, building interiors, parking facilities, and perimeters to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas; observe visitor and contractor activity; and report suspicious activity, hazards, property damage, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications, and maintain a professional presence while interacting with diverse members of the public.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
