Job DetailsJob Location: Columbus, OH 43222Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: HS Diploma/GEDSalary Range: $17.50 - $17.50 HourlyJob Shift: Other - see details in job postingLocation: Columbus, OH  Shift: Monday-Friday and occasional weekend assignments, between 7:00am - 4:30pm based on location, hours will be around 40 hours per week within the hours/days mentioned. FLSA: Nonexempt The position will be responsible for the following job duties: Floor Tech work: Sweeps strip, clean, buff, and apply floor sealer and floor finish to hard surface floors. Vacuum and shampoo rugs and carpeted areas of the facility. Use and maintain assigned power equipment and hand tools; buffers, auto scrubbers, extractors, high pressure washers, high speed buffers and vacuums, brooms, mops, and squeegees for the cleaning and general maintenance of floors, walls, carpets, etc. Utilize the correct products and equipment needed for the job. Carry heavy equipment. Transport equipment from various locations as necessary. Maintain equipment and notify supervisor of any mechanical difficulties or improvements that need to be made. Take care of all safety precautions in the area so as to not cause any injuries to people walking on the floors or yourself. Notify your supervisor of any problems that arise at the facility or any work that is not completed by the designated deadline. Float Custodian: Works as a backup for all sites to cover leaves and vacancies as required. Clean commercial, state, or federal sites based on customer specifications Driver: Will drive company vehicle to deliver supplies, inventory and laundry to a number of locations within Franklin County. Qualifications High school education or GED; and at least 6 months work related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be able to pass federal clearance checks and maintain a clean driving record. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Must have floorcare experience. Must have 6 points or less on their driver's license with an active driver's license and be approved to drive agency vehicles.
