As an Assembler, you will play a crucial role in our hydraulic oilfield equipment manufacturing process. Your primary responsibility will be to assemble pressure gauges, cylinders, and weight indicators with precision and attention to detail. This role is integral to ensuring the reliability and performance of our equipment, which is vital for our clients' operations in the oil and gas industry.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble hydraulic oilfield equipment, including pressure gauges, cylinders, and weight indicators, following detailed instructions and specifications.
  • Ensure all components are properly aligned, fitted, and secured during the assembly process.
  • Conduct visual inspections and quality checks to identify and rectify any defects or deviations from standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored and accounted for.
  • Collaborate with quality control personnel to address any issues or non-conformances identified during the assembly process.
  • Keep accurate records of assembled equipment, including serial numbers, batch codes, and any relevant data.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and diagnosing issues with assembled equipment, working closely with the engineering team.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting process enhancements and best practices.
  • Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; relevant certification or training in assembly or manufacturing is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar assembly role, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination, with the ability to work with small and precise components.
  • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
  • Willingness to undergo training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality.
