Qualifications

ā— She shall be a person of spiritual maturity, amiableto the Assemblies of God doctrine, and in full agreement with the ATCOT missionstatement

ā— Complete the Effective Biblical Counseling course oran equivalent course

ā— Knowledge of Christian discipleship and mentorrelationships

ā— High School Diploma or GED

ā— Ideally credentialed as a minister or pursuingcredentials in the AG or doctrinally similar fellowship

ā— 30 hours of training in childcare or related field(Provided by THRIVE)

ā— Maintain First Aid and CPR certification(Certification training provided by THRIVE)

ā— Abackground check and pastoral reference is required

ā— College degree or work experience equivalence

ā— At least 1 year full time ministry experience

ā— A gooddriving record (have or obtain Texas drivers license)

ā— The Direct Care staff is responsible to the CampusDirector



Requirements

She will primarily serve as a minister to adolescent girls students inthe THRIVE program.

her responsibilities include but not be limited to:

ā— Conduct Bible studies

ā— Lead prayer

ā— Disciple students

ā— Conduct evangelistic outreach

ā— Engage in religious instruction

ā— Work with other departments to comply with all TexasDFPS regulations

ā— Participate in campus events and chapels as required

ā— Supervision, mentoring, and interacting withresidents during various activities, which may include but is not limited toschool, work periods, free time, and recreational activities

ā— Administer discipline as is necessary according toTHRIVE policies

ā— Minister to students as opportunity arises and/orduring scheduled sessions

ā— Provide and effectively communicate vision andplanning for all aspects of the campus

ā— Be supportive of the Teen Challenge NationalAccreditation Standards and fully cooperative with the Teen Challenge National Office

ā— Be responsible for the physical, spiritual, andemotional welfare and development of the students while on the campus

ā— Be responsible for the supervision and guidance ofthe program staff

ā— Become a mentor to students

ā— All other duties as assigned by Director
