Job Summary

This role currently has no direct reports and will report directly to Rachel Reid, Sr Manager - Property Accounting. This is a new role and is a senior analyst role, so the work is not expected to be repetitive or routine. The role will develop as ERP reporting, integration and other initiatives evolve.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with IT on ERP reporting, integration and other initiatives in process
  • Independently complete projects requiring data analysis & business knowledge
  • Prepare and/or streamline monthly property reconciliation processes 
  • Prepare monthly and annual depreciation forecasts 
  • Liaison between Accounting and IT
  • Work cross-functionally to eliminate pain points and/or provide ad hoc information

 

What You Bring to the Team

  • Degree in Accounting required

  • Prefer 2- 3 years of accounting experience

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (XLOOKUPs, PIVOT tables, etc.) 

  • Attention to detail and data quality control 

  • Proficient analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills 

  • Proactive in using AI-powered analytics to improve data analysis and automation

  • Exposure to Power BI, Oracle Fusion, retail/hospitality industry preferred.
