Trinity Solar is seeking a motivated and skilled Installation Crew Leader to oversee the installation of residential solar systems. In this role, you’ll combine hands-on installation work with crew oversight, ensuring that every project is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

As a Crew Leader, you’ll play a vital role in guiding your team in the field, solving on-site challenges, and helping homeowners take the step toward renewable energy. Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead and participate in the installation of residential solar modules, racking, and equipment in compliance with NEC codes, company standards, and safety best practices.
  • Provide day-to-day guidance, direction, and technical expertise to the installation crew.
  • Ensure thorough documentation of each installation, including photos, array and equipment diagrams, and existing site features, and submit all materials promptly.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, inspectors, and internal teams throughout the project.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly jobsite that reflects company professionalism.
  • Safely operate and maintain company vehicles, following all policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Experience

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1-2 years of solar installation, electrical, or related construction experience.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with comfort using tools, climbing ladders, and working at heights for extended periods.
  • Ability to kneel, crouch, and lift/move 40-50 lbs. regularly in varying outdoor conditions.
  • Proven ability to lead by example, motivate team members, and maintain a positive, productive work environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) and ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
  • Must have reliable attendance and commitment to safety.
