Overview

Keenan has an exciting career opportunity for a Sales and Marketing Coordinator! The Sales and Marketing Coordinator will provide administrative assistance to the Vice President of the department. This Coordinator will also develop and maintain relationships with key clients. 

 

Keenan, now a part of Gallagher, is an insurance brokerage and consulting firm meeting the insurance needs of hospitals, public entities and California school districts. Keenan specializes in providing consulting services in the areas of: employee benefits, workers' compensation, loss control, financial, and property & liability.

How you'll make an impact

  • Create sales and marketing reports using Excel on a weekly and monthly basis and distribute.
  • Interact with key client relationships and provide support as required.
  • Attend and participate in business development events.
  • Schedule meetings via telephone, video conference, in and outside office.
  • Maintain vendor relationships.
  • Answer multiple phone lines.
  • Small Group Account Management.
  • Individual Client Management.
  • Responsible for departmental Administrative Support.
  • Prepare expense reports and accounts payable documentation. 
  • Assist with sales quote preparation and enrollment activities.
  • Coordinate travel and meeting planning.
  • Facilitate marketing, sales, enrollment events and logistics.
  • Responsible for administrative aspects of Contracts and Licenses with Carrier partners and coordinate with Finance Department. 
  • Maintain contact management lists for key marketing partners and strategic relationships.
  • Prepare sales and marketing material for presentations and meetings.
  • Maintain marketing and sales supplies and materials; coordinate with various resources in providing same to relationships, internal requests and partnerships.
  • Other duties as assigned.

About You

Required:

  • Candidates must have 3-5 years of Administrative Assistant/Sales Assistant experience.
  • California Life/Health license preferred.
  • Must have the ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and written.
  • The successful candidate must be extremely organized and able to work with a variety of people.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word. 
  • Adept at accessing business data from the Internet when required.
