Job Description

Our Covington clinic is looking for a WIC Registered Dietician, apply today!


Minimum Requirements

  • License to be a Dietician in the State of Louisiana 
  • Be over 18 years of age 
  • Possess a valid driver's license 
  • Prior experience preferred


Core Competencies

  • Knowledge and ability monitor and measure programs' compliance and with all applicable policies, funding and billing regulations, and laws.
  • Knowledge and ability to monitor all aspects of quality assurance/improvement and to implement plans to further improve quality. 
  • Knowledge and ability to to assist in monitoring programs' compliance to applicable accreditation standards and implementing corrective action plans as necessary.


Job Duties / Skills Required 

  • Assesses BMI, evaluates nutritional status, and identifies nutritional needs. 
  • Evaluates participants tolerance for prescribed diet.  
  • Conducts healthcare screenings and assessments. 
  • Coordinates care with other medical providers for medically fragile patients.
  • Provides age-appropriate education and instruction. 
  • Enters information into an Electronic Health Record on all participant services in a timely manner.
