Responsibilities

V2X is seeking a highly skilled and experienced A&P Mechanic with a strong background in FAA regulated aircraft maintenance. This position requires a minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience, ensuring our fleet remains safe, reliable, and airworthy.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance IAW OEM and FAA regulations.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, inspect, and maintain aircraft systems and components in accordance with FAA regulations and company procedures.
  • Complete accurate maintenance records and documentation.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory guidelines.
  • Coordinate with flight operations and other departments to minimize aircraft downtime.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of direct experience working on aircraft.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be able to pass drug screening and background check.
  • Valid U.S. Drivers License.
  • This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Level security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Phase Inspections, hot section inspections, and propeller balancing.
  • Previous experience at Part 145 Repair Station.
  • Avionics troubleshooting experience is a plus.
  • King Air and Cessna Caravan experience
