GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
The Server Assistant supports the service team by keeping tables, service stations, and dining areas clean, organized, and fully prepared throughout each shift. This position works closely with servers, hosts, bartenders, and culinary team members to ensure members and guests receive attentive, efficient, and polished service.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
•   Prepare the dining room before service, including setting tables, polishing glassware and silverware, and stocking service stations.
•   Greet and acknowledge members and guests in a friendly, professional manner.
•   Provide water, bread, condiments, and other table necessities promptly.
•   Clear used plates, glassware, and silverware without disrupting the guest experience.
•   Reset and prepare tables quickly and accurately for the next seating.
•   Assist servers with delivering food and beverages when needed.
•   Communicate table needs, guest requests, and service concerns to the appropriate server or manager.
•   Maintain clean and organized dining rooms, patios, server stations, and side-work areas.
•   Restock glassware, linens, silverware, plates, and other service supplies throughout the shift.
•   Follow proper procedures for handling dishes, glassware, food, and cleaning products.
•   Support opening, closing, and assigned side-work responsibilities.
•   Assist with banquets, special events, and other Food & Beverage operations as assigned.
•   Follow all food-safety, sanitation, appearance, and workplace-safety standards.
•   Work collaboratively with the entire team and assist wherever needed without losing focus on assigned responsibilities.
•   Perform other duties as assigned by Food & Beverage leadership.

•   Anticipate guest and server needs rather than waiting to be asked.

•   Maintain awareness of the entire dining room.

QUALIFICATIONS
•   Previous restaurant, hospitality, or customer-service experience is preferred but not required.
•   Must be dependable, punctual, and willing to learn.
•   Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively with team members.
•   Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
•   Must maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude.
•   Knowledge of basic food-safety and sanitation practices is preferred.
•   Must meet any age requirements related to the handling or delivery of alcoholic beverages.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
•   Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
•   Ability to bend, reach, carry, and safely lift up to 30 pounds.
•   Ability to carry trays, racks of glassware, bus tubs, plates, and service supplies.
•   Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures and weather conditions.
SCHEDULING REQUIREMENTS
•   Must be available for a flexible schedule based on business needs.
•   Availability may include mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, banquets, and special events.
•   Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential requirements of the position.
