RESPONSIBILITIES: The Assistant Registrar works closely with the Registrar and reports to the Dean of Advising. The Assistant Registrar leads all aspects of standardized testing, manages all student records to include academic databases and platforms, and communicates on behalf of the office to internal and external audiences. The Ideal candidate will take pride in professionally representing the department with both internal and external constituents. Additionally, they will develop strong, trusting relationships with community members while also cultivating an appreciation for and understanding of Culver’s culture and community.

REQUIREMENTS: A bachelor's degree is preferred with at least three years of general office work experience and progressive levels of responsibility.  This position requires high-level proficiency with database input and custom report generation, high competency with Excel, Word, and related software. Excellent data entry skills and experience with Cialfo, Veracross, Schoology, and Survey Monkey are required. The successful applicant must possess the ability to take charge of work and create new initiatives as appropriate; routinely exhibit good critical thinking, sound judgment, effective problem-solving and prudent decision-making; and plan and maintain work to meet short- and long-range goals. This position requires writing and editing effectively and communicating the written and spoken word with tact, diplomacy, and authority when necessary. This position entails having access to highly confidential information. Must be discreet and able to maintain confidentiality.
