About the Role:
The Goddard School of Katy (Cinco Ranch) is looking for a warm, organized, and enthusiastic Office Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our school community. Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome families, children, and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls, emails, and inquiries promptly and courteously
- Manage front desk operations including sign-in/sign-out procedures and visitor check-in
- Maintain and organize student records, enrollment documents, and administrative files
- Assist school director and staff with scheduling, correspondence, and daily administrative tasks
- Coordinate communication between parents, staff, and administration
- Support enrollment processes by providing tours and sharing information with prospective families
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferred
- Previous receptionist, administrative, or customer service experience preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic office equipment
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Warm, professional demeanor with a genuine love for working around children and families
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
