Candidates must have at least six months of relevant experience in a hospital or similar security-related field, or one year of college may be substituted.
The position requires excellent public relations and communication skills, along with knowledge of security and safety procedures.
Certification in Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) is required within three months of employment, as well as BLS-Healthcare Provider Certification upon hire.
Work hours are from 6 AM to 2:30 PM, with rotating weekend requirements, and a competitive salary is offered based on experience.

Responsibilities

Conducts activities to provide a safe and secure environment for Hospital patients, visitors, and employees. Required to interface with visitors, staff, physicians, patients and family members.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:1. Six (6) months Hospital experience or Security/Safety, Fire, Police, Military Police, Ambulance/EMT, or similar occupation. One (1) year of college may be substituted. 2. Must demonstrate complete knowledge and application of Security, Safety, or Law Enforcement techniques and procedures. 3. Must possess excellent public relation/customer service skills, and good written and oral communication skills. 4. Must either possess Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) Certification or successfully complete the MOAB Certification course within three months of employment. 5. Must successfully complete BLS-Healthcare Provider Certification course, offered by the organization, upon hire.
