SWE Employee Experience and Event Operations brings people together, tells impactful stories, and delivers best-in-class experiences across Software Engineering (SWE). Our team provides end-to-end visual design services, event management, and technical video production expertise to foster connections across the organization. We are seeing a collaborative, results-oriented individual to drive audio/visual and technical production for high-visibility internal events across SWE and partner groups. In this role, you will help shape how we reach and connect with employees, combining a passion for extraordinary event execution with a strong commitment to technical excellence. The ideal candidate combines hands-on technical production expertise with strong initiative and a drive for operational efficiency, with a focus on leveraging AI in workflow processes. We are seeking someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and excels at building cross-functional partnerships to execute seamless, high-impact events and programs.

Description


- Design, deploy, operate, and maintain end-to-end AV and broadcast solutions supporting virtual, hybrid, and in-person employee events across Software Engineering (SWE) - Drive technical planning, run-of-show execution, and live event management in close partnership with internal teams, executive leadership, and external vendor partners - Oversee event logistics from concept to completion, including venue/room requirements, equipment logistics/routing, schedules, and real-time issue resolution - Leverage modern tools and AI-driven workflows to continuously improve operational efficiency and elevate the overall employee experience - Develop and contribute to standard operating procedures, documentation, and training materials to scale production capabilities

Minimum Qualifications


Event Production Expertise: 5+ years of hands-on experience designing, managing, and executing technical AV production for live, virtual, and hybrid events in a corporate or broadcast environment AV & Media Networking: Solid understanding of Audio-over-IP (AoIP) networks (e.g., Dante and AES67 interoperability) and core media networking fundamentals (VLAN segmentation, IGMP/multicast, QoS, PTP timing, bandwidth planning) Broadcast & Signal Flow: Comprehensive knowledge of broadcast video standards, SDI-to-IP workflows, video routing, signal conversion, resolution/frame rate considerations, and color space/HDR standards Production Management: Proven track record leading live runs-of-show, managing technical crews, and maintaining composure while troubleshooting under tight, real-time deadlines Project Management: Excellent organizational and project management skills, with experience planning, managing and delivering projects with varied and compressed deadlines; proven ability to multi-task across concurrent work-streams Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to partner effectively, establish rapport, and credibility to foster trust with cross-functional stakeholders and executive leadership Communication & Adaptability: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to filter technical complexity for non-technical audiences and navigate ambiguous, fast-paced environments Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in event production in a corporate environment

Preferred Qualifications


Experience in workflow automation, scripting, or applying AI tools to streamline production workflows Experience with SMPTE ST 2110 standards, PTP timing (ST 2059), multicast stream routing, and NMOS (IS-04/IS-05) discovery and connection management Advanced Q-SYS experience — DSP design and deployment, including custom scripting (Lua, Python, or REST APIs) for device integration Hands-on experience with cinema-grade camera systems (e.g., Canon Cinema EOS, RED), lenses, studio lighting, and working video editing skills — independently assemble, cut, and deliver finished video Proficiency producing technical system documentation in AutoCAD, Vectorworks, or similar CAD software, including signal flow diagrams, rack elevations, and room drawings Advanced proficiency with Apple productivity tools (Keynote, Numbers, Pages)
