- Hillcrest Hospital Cushing is a 99-bed community-owned facility offering a variety of services for patients of all ages in the Cushing, Oklahoma area.
- The hospital offers 24-hour emergency services, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, diagnostic imaging, orthopedics, neurosurgery, urology and more. In 2025, the hospital will add inpatient behavioral health services.
- The ED has 9 beds and the role will oversee approximately 21 FTE's ranging from RN's, LPN's and a paramedic.
The RN Nurse Manager is responsible for assisting the CNO with the overall leadership responsibilities of the department in accordance with established nursing standards, philosophy and Hillcrest's mission/vision.  The Nurse Manager serves as a vital link between management and the clinical staff as well as striving to achieve efficient, safe and cost-effective patient care. Â
Job Requirements:
- Current RN License in the state of Oklahoma. Â
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Â
- ACLS and PALS within 90 days of employment. Â
- At least 1 year of experience in the Emergency DepartmentÂ
- BLS certification must be obtained with 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
Preferred Job Qualifications:
Previous Charge or leadership experience
- Certification preferred: CEN (Certified Emergency Nurse), NE-BC, NEA-BC, or other relevant nursing leadership certification.
- Demonstrated ability to lead change, build team accountability, and foster a positive culture during periods of transition.
- Prior experience managing an Emergency Department with responsibility for frontline clinical staff and day-to-day operations.
