If so, Clean Scapes may be the perfect place for you. Clean Scapes is hiring Tree Crew Leaders to support our growing Arbor Division. This role is responsible for leading field crews in the safe, efficient execution of tree care services including pruning, removals, and rigging operations. Crew Leaders play a critical role in jobsite safety, production flow, and team development. This position offers advancement opportunities into senior leadership roles within operations, training, and arbor management. What You’ll Do Lead and direct a crew of 2–6 team members on tree care jobsites Perform and supervise tree pruning, removals, and rigging operations Conduct daily safety briefings and ensure hazards are identified and controlled Set up and maintain safe, organized work zones Communicate clearly with crew members, management, and clients Ensure all work is completed to company standards and ANSI safety guidelines Operate chainsaws, chippers, aerial equipment, and trucks safely Train and mentor climbers and groundsmen on proper techniques and safety Maintain equipment and ensure proper inspections are completed Support jobsite documentation, work order execution, and communication Crew Leader 1 (CL-1) Leads a single crew on daily tree care operations Performs advanced climbing, pruning, and rigging Manages jobsite safety, production, and crew coordination Mentors developing climbers and groundsmen Serves as the primary point of contact on site Crew Leader 2 (CL-2) – Senior Field Leader Leads complex jobs and may oversee multiple crews or projects Performs advanced removals, crane work, and technical rigging Coaches and develops team members across all skill levels Supports onboarding, training, and performance development Communicates regularly with operations leadership and supports planning QualificationsWhat We’re Looking For Proven experience in professional tree care and crew leadership Strong climbing, rigging, and pruning skills Ability to lead a team and make safe, efficient decisions in the field Strong communication and problem-solving skills Commitment to safety, quality, and professionalism Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions Preferred (Not Required) ISA Certified Arborist or Tree Worker CPR / First Aid Certification CDL or ability to obtain Experience with crane removals and advanced rigging Bilingual (English/Spanish) What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience and leadership level Full-time, year-round work Clear advancement path into senior leadership roles Ongoing training, certifications, and skill development Strong safety culture and team environment Opportunity to help build and grow a leading Arbor Division Apply today and lead a team that takes pride in building, protecting, and maintaining Texas landscapes.
