We offer internships acrossĀ a variety of departments,Ā including Capital Markets, Corporate Communications, Development, Financial Planning & Analysis,Ā Investments,Ā LeasingĀ and more.Ā 

  

Link isĀ seekingĀ actively enrolled juniorsĀ who are interested in gaining hands-on experience in industrial real estate development. The Development Summer Intern will support theĀ teamĀ with project reporting, data management,Ā budget andĀ cash flow tracking, documentationĀ management,Ā permitting and utility coordination,Ā andĀ overall projectĀ execution support acrossĀ various stages ofĀ the development lifecycle. This role offers exposure toĀ manyallĀ facetsĀ of industrial real estateĀ development, from site evaluation,Ā andĀ due diligence, design and entitlement coordination, Financial Analysis,Ā throughĀ construction management, leasingĀ assumptionsĀ and delivery of completed developments.Ā

What You WillĀ Do:

  • Assist the Development TeamĀ with active projectsĀ in various stages of the development lifecycle, including site evaluation, due diligence, design coordination, cost estimating, financial modeling, leasing assumptions, construction management, and project closeout.Ā 

  • Maintain project files, trackers, contracts, invoices, and other development records to ensure information isĀ accurate, organized, and readily accessible.Ā 

  • HelpĀ establish, track, and monitor project budgets,Ā schedules, and key project milestonesĀ throughout the development lifecycleĀ to ensure project records areĀ accurate, organized, and current.Ā 

  • Maintain market lease assumptions and support updates as project budgets, schedules, and market conditions evolve.Ā 

  • Support project documentation and cash flow projections, ensuring key records areĀ accurate, organized, and current.Ā 

  • AssistĀ with project documentation,Ā permitĀ tracking, utility coordination, and stakeholder communications, ensuring project records areĀ accurate, organized, and current.Ā 

  • Support the closeout process for completed developments, including collection of final documentation and confirmation that financial records areĀ finalized.Ā

Qualifications:

  • Current junior, undergraduate student at an accredited four-yearĀ institution;Ā must be actively enrolled at the time of consideration.Ā 

  • Pursuing a degree in accounting, finance, real estate, economics, mathematics, business, civil engineering, construction management, orĀ a relatedĀ field.Ā 

  • Interest in commercial real estate, industrial real estate,Ā development, project management, investment, or construction; no formal experienceĀ required.Ā 

  • Basic understanding of real estate investment,Ā financing, market analysis, financial analysis, property valuation, development timelines, schedules, and cost estimation.Ā 

  • ProficiencyĀ in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; familiarity with project management tools or AI-enabled applications is a plus.Ā 

  • Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Ā 

  • High attention to detail and comfort interacting with cross-functional teams and senior-level stakeholders.Ā Ā 

$30/hour represents the presently anticipated base compensation pay range for this position at Link. Actual pay may vary based on various factors, including but not limited to location and experience.
