They can be based in our Miami, DC, New York, Chicago, Atlanta, Phoenix or Dallas office. We offer competitive compensation and an excellent benefits package. Greenberg Traurig’s Financial Regulatory & Compliance Practice comprises of more than 80 attorneys throughout the United States and in Latin America, Europe and Asia. Our department’s global platform distinctively positions us to address the needs of both domestic and international clients. We continue to build on a practice base that, while very broad, is nonetheless refined to serve the unique industry, practice, and jurisdictional needs of our diverse client base.

Candidates will have a minimum of 6 years of financial services regulatory and compliance experience (particularly in the areas of banking, money services businesses, payment systems, FinTech firms).  Experience with licensing/chartering, and knowledge of key financial services laws and regulations (e.g., BSA/AML, sanctions, third-party risk management, and consumer compliance).  Enforcement experience is a plus. 

We are seeking candidates who possess a strong academic background and excellent legal research, analysis and writing skills, with strong attention to detail.  Candidates must be willing to take on significant responsibility, have a strong commitment to client service and be diligent, proactive and team-oriented.  Candidates must be admitted to or eligible for admission in the relevant jurisdiction. Fluency in Spanish is preferred but not required.

The expected pay range for this position is:

$260,000 - 365,000 per year

Salary will be determined based upon education, experience, job related factors permitted by law, internal equity, and market data, including geographic pay differentials in locations where market pay differs from the national average. Full time employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, health insurance with an optional HSA, short term disability, long term disability, dental insurance, vision care, life insurance, Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, 401K, vacation, sick time, and an employee assistance program.  Additional voluntary programs include: voluntary accident insurance, voluntary life, voluntary disability, voluntary critical illness and cancer insurance and pet insurance.  Commuter and Transit programs may also be available in certain markets.
