Process Engineer – Water Treatment & R&D
Location: Midland/West Texas
Salary: $110,000–$130,000 + 10% Bonus

An innovative industrial water organization is seeking a Process Engineer to support process optimization, engineering and R&D initiatives involving advanced water-treatment operations.
Responsibilities
- Â Lead process optimization initiativesÂ
- Â Analyze plant and laboratory operating dataÂ
- Â Develop process models, mass balances and performance calculationsÂ
- Â Identify opportunities to increase efficiency and reduce operating costsÂ
- Â Evaluate water-treatment and emerging technologiesÂ
- Â Support engineering/design for R&D initiativesÂ
- Â Coordinate pilot programs, field trials and proof-of-concept testingÂ
- Â Develop technical evaluations and business casesÂ
Qualifications
- Â Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Process, Environmental, Mechanical Engineering or related disciplineÂ
- Â 5+ years of relevant industrial process-engineering experienceÂ
- Â Experience in water treatment, chemical processing, desalination, refrigeration or similar industrial environmentsÂ
- Â Strong chemistry/thermodynamics, analytical and troubleshooting skillsÂ
- Â Ability to work in plant and field environmentsÂ
Travel: This is a hands-on position requiring regular travel to a West Texas operating facility, generally 3–4 days per week. Company transportation, fuel and lodging support are available.
