Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for supervising and training all Wellbeing (Spa) team members to ensure guests are receiving the ultimate experience.  As the master organizer, you will also be responsible for scheduling all spa-related appointments, checking guests in and out, and assisting in all retail sales.  The Wellbeing Supervisor will come with a friendly and helpful demeanor and be able to manage guest issues and create solutions.  

  • Ensure the spa and fitness facilities are prepared for proper opening and closing each day
  • Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the facilities including ensuring facility/amenities are in proper working order
  • Arrange all spa appointments for a la carte services/activities and packages
  • Support Director of Wellbeing with all administrative functions of the Spa including using Spa software, maintaining inventory of supplies, answering telephones, making appointments, and answering questions
  • Oversee efficiency of Wellbeing operations at the front desk via proper scheduling of appointments and staff as well as review and revise scheduling daily 
  • Assist with billing for all Wellbeing services and retail sales including preparing receipts
  • Be thoroughly familiar with and provide instruction on Wellbeing software
  • Assist with inventories and cost control
  • Assist in monitoring and evaluating of Wellbeing Reception and Attendant employees

Qualifications

  • At  least 1 year of experience within a luxury hotel property, spa environment or luxury retailer preferred, previous experience is required
  • Experience leading a team with a positive and heartfelt approach preferred
  • Ability to handle customer requests, issues and come up with quick solutions
  • Trusting to handle confidential guest information 
  • Show initiative and strive to prioritize operational needs and anticipate guest requests
  • Be an excellent communicator, great listener and super understanding whether towards other team members or guests 
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and commitment to luxury service standards
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional appearance and demeanor required at all times
  • Strong understanding of spa operations, guest flow, and service standards
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
  • CPR/First Aid certification preferred
  • Bilingual abilities preferred
