We are looking for an individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, likes to be challenged, learn, teach, and values the opportunity to make a difference.  The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for diagnosis, installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of machinery, equipment, physical structures, pipe and electrical systems in the plant. Maintenance personnel must be able to work in different environments, problem solve, and use tools and equipment appropriate for each job. Work will vary from day to day depending upon the needs of the plant to maintain production. The Mechanic must be self-motivated, able to complete jobs in a timely manner and must be able to work productively with other employees. QualificationsJob Specifications: Minimum Education Required: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Minimum of 2-years of work experience as an industrial mechanic. The ability to diagnose mechanical problems and make repairs. Knowledge of standard materials, tools and equipment, and skill in the use and care of tools. All selected candidates will be required to pass a written, standardized mechanical test. Shifts are 12-hours and work weeks alternate between 36 and 48-hours. Compensation is based on aptitude and experience.  Additional overtime opportunities.
